The Happy Artist

fiftytwofragments: (10/52) I’m not finished with this one yet but it’s the end of the week and I need something to show that I haven’t just been lazy. There’s still more editing and touchups to do but I haven’t gotten around to it because the weather’s been too nice.  It started out with trying to reproduce a mirror-on-the-floor shot I saw awhile ago so I tried a test shot with just my hands and it kind of stuck. Eventually I started working with the idea of nightmares and I figured that needed some creepy shadowed hands and a bunch of layers so I went ahead and did that. I have some really good (I think) ideas to try out once things start to green up a bit more. I’m sick of indoor shooting and boring photos. —- In other news, I’m debating giving up on the self portrait aspect of this project. Perhaps I’ll take a break from that for awhile and come back when I’m happier with what I’m creating.
